▪ Jacob wrestled two very good matches falling to Bracey in the first match
who went on to finish 5^th and nearly beating Kutz in his second match.

▪ Devin wrestled an outstanding first match knocking off 4^th seeded Evanish.
In his second match he ran into 1^st seed and eventual champion Lopez.
In his third match he gave good effort against 3^rd seeded Pych but ended
up losing the match to finish 4^th in the tournament.

105lbs. – Darren Gross  3 – 2,  6^th Place
Darren Gross, WY dec. Anthony Harrison, Northeastern 7 – 5.
Dominic Rodriguez, Elizabethtown pinned Darren Gross, WY 3:30.
Darren Gross, WY pinned Brad Whittaker, Cocalico 1:26.
Darren Gross, WY Forfeit.
Jared Keller, Wilson South pinned Darren Gross WY 2:50.

▪ Darren wrestled a very good first match before running into 2^nd seeded
Rodriguez in his second match.  In his third match, Darren dominated
Whittaker before receiving a forfeit in his fourth match because his
expected opponent was injured in an earlier match.  In his final match Darren
gave a good effort before falling to Keller and finishing 6^th in the tournament.

110lbs. – Seth Clauser  0 – 2
Anthony Vera, Elizabethtown pinned Seth Clauser, WY 3:00.
Dalton Weller, Brandywine Heights pinned Seth Clauser, WY 2:39.

▪ Despite going 0 – 2 Seth wrestled well.  He lost his first match to 2^nd seeded
Vera who ended up placing 4^th and then lost to Weller.

115lbs. – Ben Snyder  1 – 3,  8^th Place
Kyle Taylor, Boiling Springs dec. Ben Snyder, WY 5 – 2.
Ben Snyder, WY maj. dec. Woosby St. Julien, Wilson South 12 – 4.
Dustin Bowersox, Littlestown dec. Ben Snyder, WY 6 – 2.
Kyle Taylor, Boiling Springs dec. Ben Snyder, WY 2 – 1.

▪ Ben wrestled 4 tough matches. In his first match he lost a narrow decision to Taylor.
He dominated St. Julien in his second match then lost a hard fought decision
to Bowersox who went on to place 6^th.  His last match was a rematch of his first
match loss and Ben almost pulled it out losing a tough 2 – 1 decision.

122lbs. – Alex Moyer  0 – 2
Chance Marsteller, Kennard Dale pinned Alex Moyer, WY 1:08.
Michael Miller, Spring Grove dec. Alex Moyer, WY 4 – 2.

▪ Alex had a very bad draw in his first match running into Chance Marsteller
who was somehow unseeded.  Marsteller is one of the best, if not the best
junior high wrestler in York County although he is only a 7^th grader. Marsteller
ended up winning the tournament with 3 falls (including a fall in the finals)
and a 15-0 technical fall.  In his second match, Alex gave an outstanding effort
just getting edged out by Miller.

130lbs. – Adrian Campbell  1 – 2
Brooks Morrison, Dallastown pinned Adrian Campbell, WY 2:47.
Adrian Campbell, WY dec. Travis Shurr, Exeter  6 – 3.
Elliot Hirsch, Manheim Twp. pinned Adrian Campbell, WY 0:31.

▪ Adrian gave a good effort before falling to 2^nd seeded Morrison in his first match.
Morrison went on to finish 2^nd in the tournament.  In his second match, Adrian
wrestled his best match of the year beating Shurr before falling to Hirsch
who went on to place 7^th.

138lbs. – Alex Raffensberger  0 – 2
Jake Heagy, Northeastern pinned Alex Raffensberger, WY 0:48.
Jon Justice, Littlestown pinned Alex Raffensberger, WY 2:59.

▪ Alex had a disappointing tournament losing to two wrestlers
he would probably beat on any other day.

145lbs. – Kyle Narber  1 – 2
Cody Miller, Dallastown pinned Kyle Narber, WY 2:55.
Kyle Narber, WY pinned Zach Moyer, Northeastern 1:29.
Alex Keim, Exeter maj. dec. Kyle Narber, WY  11 – 0.

▪ Despite giving almost 10 pounds, Kyle wrestled well in the tournament.
He lost his first match to 4^th seeded Miller who went on to finish 3^rd.
He wrestled his best match of the year dominating Moyer before falling
to Keim who ended up placing 8^th.

155lbs. – Bryce Love  0 – 2
Brad Angstadt, Exeter pinned Bryce Love, WY 1:53.
Caymen Farace, Littlestown pinned Bryce Love, WY 1:23.

▪ Bryce was also giving up 10 pounds at this weight class.  He wrestled well
but fell to 2^nd seeded Angstadt who ended up 3^rd  and then lost to Farace.

165lbs. – Jacob Gemmill  2 – 2,  6^th Place
Colby Beck, Northeastern pinned Jacob Gemmill, WY 2:05.
Jacob Gemmill, WY pinned Jake Heuman, Boiling Springs 0:35.
Jacob Gemmill, WY pinned Joe Lambert, Exeter 0:28.
Levi Luckenbaugh, Spring Grove dec. Jacob Gemmill, WY  10 – 5.

▪ Jacob came into the tournament seeded 3^rd but ran into an unseeded
sleeper in his first match against Beck.  Beck went on to finish 2^nd in the
tournament losing a narrow 2 – 0 decision in the finals.  Jacob came back
and wrestled well dominating Heuman and then 2^nd seeded Lambert.
In his last match Jacob had a questionable grabbing the head gear call against
him  which forced the match into overtime and he ended up losing 10 – 5
in overtime to finish 6^th.

185lbs. – Malachi Carrick  0 – 2
Christian Owens, Wilson Southern pinned Malachi Carrick, WY 0:30.
Martay Windham, Lancaster McCaskey dec. Malachi Carrick, WY  7 - 5.

▪ Malachi wrestled well despite losing both matches.
His first match was against unseeded Owens who went on to a 5^th place finish.
His inexperience cost him his second match as he was ahead late in the third period
before making a mistake and falling to Windham who went on to finish 7^th.
